Horseshoe Bend is a picturesque area in the Ozarks. This is an antique lovers paradise. The county seat, Hardy, has so many antique stores in its main shopping center that you need at least 4 entire days to see all the items offered. If you like outdoor activities, it’s hard to beat this area. We were situated on a lake and our grandsons went canoeing with their dad, hiking and exploring the woods. Absolutely gorgeous place!

This beautiful city is positioned perfectly along Crown Lake and has everything you need to relax and unwind, including canoes and kayaks, a hot tub and swimming pool, and a recreation area on-site. We loved being able to hike or canoe right where we were staying and also play some pickleball or mini-golf. We couldn’t recommend this place more.

We chose Horseshoe Bend to get away from all the hustle and bustle of a big city. Let me tell you that it does not disappoint. Everything is laid back, slow paced and just relaxing all around. The lake is absolutely gorgeous. You can never run out of things to do. And its right on the edge of the Ozark mountains.
